IKSHANA 2024

Shine your talents

Ikshana in Sanskrit means 'evolved knowledge in its purest form.'
At Ikshana, we invite students from institutions to allow their talent and knowledge to shine. Undergraduate students across India are invited to showcase their potential, highlight their perspectives and reveal their creations through these competitions.

We host two competitions:

  1. The Short Film Festival
  2. The Great Storytelling Race

The Theme for the above 2 competitions is "Communication in the Post-Truth Era."

In the age of digital disruption and information overload, skepticism lies over the truth of messages, and the credibility of the writer is questioned. Does fact matter over personal beliefs and opinions, or, as it is seen in this post-truth era, is it the other way around? What is the solution, how can communication in this age remain credible and verifiable?

The entries will go through three rounds of elimination judged by a jury of esteemed professionals from the media industry. The finalists will be awarded at the megaevent on campus in Mumbai.
