IKSHANA 2025-26

Shine your talents

Ikshana in Sanskrit means 'evolved knowledge in its purest form.'
At Ikshana, we invite students from institutions to allow their talent and knowledge to shine. Undergraduate students across India are invited to showcase their potential, highlight their perspectives and reveal their creations through these competitions.

We host two competitions:

  1. Short Filmmaking Festival
  2. The Great Storytelling Race

The Theme for the above 2 competitions is "The Intersection of Technology and Humanity."

The intersection of technology and humanity is a dynamic, symbiotic relationship where technological advancements profoundly reshape human life, interactions, culture, and ethics. Our everyday lives have become deeply entwined with technology and raises a number of questions: Are self-service and virtual connections detrimental to our societal advancement? Will machines replace humans? The greatest hurdle lies in navigating the "harmony paradox".

The entries will go through three rounds of elimination judged by a jury of esteemed professionals from the media industry. The finalists will be awarded at the megaevent on campus in Mumbai.
